We're brand new inside! The
new owners of the marina and concessions have
completely gone through the facility and
everything is newly decorated. It looks great
and feels more like a fishing lodge. Come in
soon and try the new restaurant. We're looking
forward to meeting you.
Come to Pelton
Park store & Marina soon
and meet the new owner/operators.
Kokanee fishing is great
at Lake Simtustus. You can also catch
Rainbow Trout, Brown Trout, Bull Trout
(Dolly Varden) and Bass.
Everything in the store &
the cafe has been remodeled. We've added a
bar with heavy wooden stools, new custom
made wood tables & chairs in the cafe and
custom wood decor throughout.
Be sure to bring your very
best camera. In this part of Central Oregon
there is beauty everywhere you look.
Fishing Report 6-26-2011
Fishing has been
very good. Lake Simtustus fishing is consistent and morning and evening
bites have been very productive. Trolling is the most effective method. The
majority of the catch has been Steelhead & Rainbow trout. Some large Bull
Trout (Dolly Varden) have been caught and also larger Brown Trout. Kokanee
have always been a big favorite for Lake Simtustus fishing and this year is
no exception. The numbers of Kokanee being caught are lower than normal but
the sizes are larger. Trolling with flashers, a wedding ring, snubber and a
little white corn on the hook is the most popular method for Lake Simtustus
Kokanee.

The campground is run by

from any of them to our store & marina.
Lake Simtustus is known
for great fishing. The water is actually the
Deschutes river as it flows down from Lake
Billy Chinook. It's great for boating,
fishing swimming water skiing and just plain
viewing and relaxing.
